About ShiftPay

ShiftPay is a small set of free calculators for pay math: overtime under US and international rules, shift differentials for night or weekend work, and a combined gross-pay tool. Everything runs in your browser, so the numbers you type never leave your device.

We built ShiftPay because overtime rules are easy to miscalculate by hand — 40-hour weeks, 8-hour days, 1.5x and 2x rates, plus shift premiums all interact. Our tools follow the standard public formulas so the result matches a proper payslip for everyday situations.

The calculators cover the federal FLSA baseline used across the United States, California's stricter daily rules, and the different thresholds used in the UK, Canada and Australia. Each tool is a single static page with no account, no login, and no upload step. You open the page, type your figures, and read the result.

ShiftPay is reviewed against published labor standards, not against any one employer's payroll. Thresholds and multipliers shown are based on public rules and may differ by employer, award, or annual update. Where a value changes from year to year — such as Nevada's wage tie-in for daily overtime — we note the refresh point in the relevant page.

We do not sell user data, because we do not collect it. There is no analytics that follows you across sites, and no profile is built from what you calculate. The site is meant to be a quick, private check you can run before talking to payroll or a labor authority.
